M+A runners raise £3k for cancer charity
10k challenge completed for Maggie's Cancer Care Centre
McLeod + Aitken wish to congratulate the fund-raising team who ran in the 25th Aberdeen Baker Hughes 10k this year and say a big thank you to everyone who sponsored them and gave their support on the day.
Joining more than 3000 other runners on the day, Mitch MacVicar, Nick Stewart, Jordan Jeffrey, Jennifer Simpson and Laura Wood successfully surged past their target of £2500 to raise £3000 for the new Aberdeen Maggie's Cancer Care Centre.
Maggie’s Centres are calm, uplifting, inspiring places, where people come to feel at home, to find friendship, solace and practical help. People can access information on cancer and its treatment, emotional support, confidential counselling and advice.
