Working closely with designers we are able to bring a critical eye to any project and ensure the best outcome in terms of space management, working environments and final outturn costs. With many of these larger projects now being let on a design and build basis, being one of the few companies that employ our own Mechanical & Electrical QS’s allows use to ensure best value on large plant items and equipment, such as lifts and escalators that other companies often exclude from their services.
McLeod + Aitken are also experienced in evaluating the carbon footprints of these projects and can advise on the benefits of different materials and design solutions from an early stage in the process.
Refurbishment of office space also offers its own experiences from having to phase work around an existing building layouts or an in-situ workforce. Providing our own Health & Safety Consultant ensures that we address all associated risks and brings this aspect of project delivery to the forefront of the minds of all involved.
